Service Description
Frida Kahlo was an unstoppable force in Mexican culture, inspiring not only her own country but the world. She beautifully blended her Native culture with her European heritage while fiercely maintaining her connection to her native roots. Frida has become a beloved figure in the art world, and we celebrate her and the Native Mexican heritage that she cherished. In this class, participants will explore the amazing contributions of Frida Kahlo and use her as a muse. We will create a stunning painted background inspired by Mexican folk art, which will serve as the backdrop for a paper collage image of Frida herself, adorned with handmade crepe paper flowers, creating her signature flower headband. I will guide you in unleashing your creative potential as you craft a masterpiece inspired by Frida Kahlo’s resilience and unique beauty. Join me for this immersive workshop, and together we will experience an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and vibrant colors!
