Service Description

Traditional Mexican embroidery is a passion of mine that never fades. The way vibrant threads infuse color and joy into garments has captivated me throughout my life. Growing up, we learned embroidery as an essential part of our cultural heritage. In this workshop, I will share a piece of that rich culture. Participants will have the opportunity to create a unique embroidery pattern on their chosen article of clothing or fabric. You will be guided in planning, sketching, embroidering, and decorating using traditional Mexican techniques, all while learning the fundamentals of embroidery. No prior experience is necessary; this workshop promises to be an immersive journey. By the end, you will proudly showcase a fully embroidered article of clothing or fabric. Supplies to begin the project included. Participants will receive a starter kit and needles. ****Participants must bring their own articles of clothing to embroider. Examples: jeans, jackets, sweaters/hoodies, dresses, skirts, table runners, tablecloths, napkins, fabric purses, etc. Anything that is made of fabric can be embroidered!
