Service Description

Alaska offers a variety of habitats that support many different animal species. In this class, we will focus on two remarkable flying creatures: dragonflies and butterflies. Children will not only learn about the ecosystems of these insects and their roles in Alaska, but they will also have the opportunity to create their own Critter Collage inspired by their favorite habitats. Those who choose the butterfly collage will create a beautiful garden background and glue their hand-drawn and colored butterflies on top, depicting them flying from flower to flower. Meanwhile, children who opt for the dragonfly collage will be encouraged to design a water-themed background to showcase their hand-drawn and colored dragonflies. Each child will bring home a stunning collage that can be mounted on the wall or placed on a table for admiration. All supplies included.
