"Wildflower" Painting with plaster $150 per participant 2-day workshop 3 hours each day Min 2-max 10 Ages 12 and up Plaster is a material we all recognize as it adorns the walls of our homes, but it also offers a unique opportunity for artistic expression through painting. In this class, you will discover a technique I have been passionately refining for my gallery-ready pieces. As a lifelong explorer of creativity, I invite you to join me in a fun, transformative experience where you can learn a remarkable skill. On Day 1, you will sketch, mix molding paste, and craft a stunning 3D plaster flower on canvas. Together, we'll prepare the plaster paste from scratch, achieve the perfect consistency, and mold your flower using a palette knife and brushes. On Day 2, we will enhance our creations by adding intricate details to bring them to life. You will have the freedom to paint your pieces in colors that resonate with you, embellishing them with gold or copper to make your wildflowers truly shine. This class welcomes participants aged 12 and older, and while it requires patience and dedication, the reward of witnessing your creation unfold is truly extraordinary!
