5/7 Capturing AK: Re-create a Landscape

Service Description

Alaska's skies sometimes just take your breath away and all you want to do is just look up! In this class, participants will be encouraged to slow down and look at all the little details that the Alaskan sky provides. The waves that the clouds create, their shape, and their density. Some are just spurs of white fuzz, but create some of the most interesting of shapes, sometimes forming roads out of clouds. In this workshop participants will learn to paint a landscape inspired by the beautiful Alaskan Sky! Participants are encouraged to bring photo references to combine into their painting, reference photos will be provided as well. This class is recommended for participants with some painting experience as we will be using level 2 acrylics. You DO NOT have to have a lot of experience as I will be teaching you the techniques I use to paint my own gallery-ready work.
